The product is excellent for the money. My old GE microwave died on me after 13 years, and I have confidence that the quality is the same or better on the new one.

Fast cooking...old microwave would need 4.6 min to do what this one can in lass than 4. Larger physically than I would like but that's my bad not understanding how large 2 cu ft is.

This is our second GE Microwave. The last one we purchased was 10 years ago. We loved our first one so much we purchased a 2nd. We were notified that this model is no longer going to be available. My Husband almost purchased two.

So far, it works well heating things. I am a bit concerned that the entire unit gets pretty warm on the outside (there is about 3 inches open space around top, back and sides of the unit for proper air flow). In addition, the known issue with the button to open the door is inconvenient but so far have been able to live with it. The control panel takes some getting used to, but I am sure, in time, that will not be an issue. Looks good in kitchen on the countertop!
I would recommend this to a friend!
