Workhorse GE microwave

Bought the original model of this GE microwave as part of overall kitchen renovation in 2008. Microwave built in 2007.
Never any issues for 15 years! Then when it died on Thanksgiving day during very heavy usage, I never dreamed I would be able to replace it with nearly identical oven and exact same dimensions! ( it was built into kitchen island cabinet)

Haven't had long. looks nice, works well. Heats quickly. Only concern is the control panel, wish it were hard plastic instead of soft. Hoping it does not wear out.

Obviously the quality of the new microwave is not as good as the older GE that we’re replacing, but overall we’re satisfied. It seems to be the closest to the size & features of our 15 year old GE.

This replaces the original GE microwave oven that died after 14 years of daily service. We really like that it is the younger sibling of the original with identical contols.
