This is an excellent machine. My husband is always saying how good it works. Something that would have take 4 to 5 minutes in our old microwave, now takes 2. Love it.

Lifespan Questionable

I replaced 3 year old model JES2051SN4SS with current model JES2051SN5SS.
I gave 3 stars b/c the microwave lasted 3 years and 4 months for the previous model. The magnetron went bad a made popping sounds and bad smell.
I could have assigned 2 stars but want to give the new model a chance to last 8 years.
Full disclosure: I am using it as 'built-in' and not as a 'tabletop'. It is vented.

Good replacement

This microwave is a replacement for the same model that we had used for several years. This new one works well, but there is a relatively minor "flaw" that keeps me from a five-star rating. The window for the time is smaller than it should be -- you have to be looking at the time head-on to see all numbers. It's not a super bad issue but a bit of an annoyance.
