Yeahhhhhhhhhhhh for the color black and white!

Very different having a portable GE oppossed to a built in GE; especially with a push botton to open oppossed to a pull down handle. Easier to open when both hands are full and with a curved inside much easier to clean.

I recently purchased this 2.0-cu ft microwave, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This is our second one of the same model and brand, and we were thrilled with the first one that lasted us an impressive 5 years. Love this microwave we've had the same microwave in the past are old one we got it in 2020 and it just kicked the bucket yesterday. So we got the same one because it's the best!!

So far it's great, maybe the best microwave I've ever had. It's also the biggest and the highest wattage. I hope it lasts a long time, I haven't had the best luck with microwaves.

Disappointed...

I've repeatedly purchased this model for many years, and loved the ease of use, the 1200 watt heating power, and roomy cooking space. The one thing that I have been extremely frustrated with however, is the pale usage panel, which is unreadable when not in broad light. I keep a small flashlight on top of the microwave for the express purpose of reading the dial in the late afternoon/evening, which is ridiculous. While my microwave was still performing perfectly, the interior had several large rust areas on the ceiling and peeling paint on the floor, so I decided to purchase a fresh one. Excited to see the improvements made in this current edition, I immediately noted a change in the company logo, which is now raised and on the far lower left, and the unit is a bit larger than the previous version, but fortunately still fit my counterspace. Upon opening the door and setting the glass turnstile in place, I saw that both the turnstile and cook space is noticeably larger, which will be a benefit to many. Now, the negatives: The new version is not as solid as the previous, and when tapping the top of each unit you can clearly hear and feel the tinny quality of the new version. The clock display is only fully readable when you crouch down to eye level; when standing, the top of the numbers cannot be seen. The placement of the keyboard items have been rearranged in a way that doesn't seem productive, and keys like Vegetable and Fish seen unnecessary. And last - but certainly not least, is that with all of these changes, and the numerous testing that this microwave had to have gone through, miraculously, NO improvement whatsoever was made to the instrument panel visibility, and the @#%! thing is STILL too faint to read without a flashlight!!! I have seen the same complaint in multiple reviews on sites where the microwave is sold, so it is incomprehensible to me how they failed to correct this flaw yet again. Extremely disappointing.
