Good, but will it last?

It has great features and cooks quickly. However, it makes a funny noise, a “cooling off” sound, which frightens me. This is our second purchase of the same model. Our first one only lasted 3 years, also a concern for this one.

Replaces our 16 yr old identical microwave

This model is a replacement and the style hasn’t changed since we purchased our last one 16 yrs. ago. It fit into the original stainless trim kit and just simply works.

My other one only in stainless steel lasted 8 months before the door kept jamming making it unusable. I hope this one lasts longer as I really like it.

Wrong placement of start & clear

I like the microwave, but the buttons should have been placed in a more obvious spot, like the bottom corner. They’re in the middle of the panel and hard to find. Had to put a red and green marker beside the start/pause and clear/off so we don’t have to look all over the whole panel for them.

I love the way it's easy to operate, how, mine makes a horrible screeching sound, like something is rubbing. I try adjusting the glass turn table, but that doesn't always correct the screech.

Great looking microwave for the price.

We chose to purchase another GE model because it's mounted over the oven inside the cabinet, and luckily, everything lined up perfectly. The face of the microwave also matches our GE oven, Black & Stainless Steel.
