Purchased one month ago. Still stinks as bad as the first day I brought this piece of junk home. Hoped the "new electronics" smell would fade, but no. No sound control, either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Actually, I have not used this one; however, it is probably my 6th or 7th.GE microwave. Had purchased another brand one time and was very dissatisfied.

We think this is a good product this is our second one in two years because they don't cost that much and as we were told when be bought it figure on replacing it every year but they are a good microwave...
