Best Bluetooth Speaker. Period.

I bought a first gen Soundlink and was superbly impressed with the sound, battery life and its ability to play reliably on sub-zero ski slopes and 110 degree beach days. I ended up buying the gen III with the intent to sell the first, but decided to keep both. The sound from both is balanced, deep and full, with the gen III being only slightly better than the first, but somewhat expected since it's slightly larger. These speakers are a testament to the motto 'you get what you pay for'. Other companies rely on ad campaigns so sell a product, but Bose lets their sound do the talking - and it speaks volumes.

NOT made for backyard parties

I bought this thinking it would crank out music loud for the summer BBQ's. Not even close. If your having three people over for tea and biscuits, you're good to go. Having a blowout with friends? Forgetabouit! The sound from headphones is louder. Stick with the Sounddock series. This is going back to the store!

I purchased this about 2 months ago and use it practically everyday! Has a great sound....easily portable...used it on a few trips and the battery life is very good...

I think I've had this for about a year now, and wow. Undeniably the greatest compact Bluetooth speaker available. I would never consider buying anything different. I've used this in a 45'x65' work shop and it completely filled the space as good as two large speakers would have. The sound stays full, solid bass, extremely clear highs, no part of the sound drowns out a different part of the sound. I'm absolutely a full believer in Bose being the only way to go.

Fantastic Spesker

I have had this speaker for about a year and 1/2. I love the sound quality, best of all I use it as my computer speaker, which is great for everyday use. If you purchase this speaker, you won't be disappointed.
