Good but not great

I've owned Generation I and II of Soundlink as well as SL Mini, and when this model came out I instantly added it to my BOSE family. Unfortunately, this turns out to be a huge disappointment. For a normal speaker I couldn't be happier about the sound---netrual, balanced with a hint of warmth towards low end, yet this is bose I'm talking about: any BOSE PRODUCT isn't supposed to sound this thin and lifeless especially when compared to SL I and II. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

This is such an awesome speaker and I don't get why there are reviews saying this is not loud enough. When I turned this on to watch movies, I always worry about annoying downstairs neighbours because of the great bass it has.
In the past, I didn't quite get it why Bose charges so much money for its products and after I use Soundlink III, I got it. Bose products offer un-duplicatable user experience. Now I bought Bose Soundsport earbuds and I can't wait to try them, too!

Got this as a gift for my wife for Valentine's day, it sounds awesome this speaker has no competition, the only bad thing I can think of is the fact you dont have a remote control!!.

Really Durable

Felt the need to write a review after I recently dropped mine from a few feet onto a hard floor. My speaker was unscathed despite the fall. Still looks the same and sounds the same.

I don't think I have ever done a review before but I just had to let you know about this awesome bluetooth wireless speaker. I have had this Soundlink III for about 4 months. I have never heard such sound come out of such a small unit. I am a Bose fan. Just about every thing I have that has to do with sound I have.
