Great sound! convenient!

I bought two of the speakers for my daughters for Christmas. The sound is great. Convenient to take outside to listen to. We play it in an indoor arena. It is a great speaker with great sound.

I love this when I'm on the go!

My car stereo died. Luckily, I'd just gotten one of these from Best Buy, so I paired my phone and used it as my car stereo while I waited on some components to ship. I couldn't have been happier! Even sitting in the back seat or the passenger footwell, it sounded amazing and filled my car. I like to listen to music around town, so I rigged up a holder for my bike. While the SoundLink mini has a form factor that is better suited to this application, it can't beat the sound of this unit.

Amazingly superb

I bought this speaker in August 2014.. And since then I am using it almost daily.. and it's working great.. It is my companion in every journey also it's so perfect in portability, sound & everything.. I am really happy with this product. It's worth every penny..!!

Battery Issue

I bought this a few months back and there's an issue with the battery? Usually when I plug the charger it would make a sound and blink yellow. Now, it just makes the sound and does not give that yellow glow.

Bought to replace sound dock 2

Bought about two months ago. Although the sound quality is good it doesn't compare to the loudness of sound dock 2. Very dissatisfied with this purchase salesman said the only change was Bluetooth, that is not the case. We tailgate a lot and our 2 out performs the 3 10 fold. Looking into other options at this point and had been a firm believer that Bose set the standard. Not the case in this particular model very sub par in my experience with it.

Here is the real deal about this product

I've had this product for about 6 months and decided to let others know what it is like. There a number of features that you should expect but lack. It has poor sound quality for a bose, has no capacity for being a hands free device, can only be charge via wall charger has no outlet for car or direct computer recharge ability. All of which is possible with a jawbone or other products. Also there is no way to tell the percentage of your battery charge which by the way does not last very long unlike a jawbone. For the money I'd rather have a jawbone next time. I bought it thinking I'm getting a bose for the same price but I learned a good lesson.

Thank you for your review of the SoundLink III Bluetooth speaker. We appreciate your feedback. We apologize for the confusion. It is true that you cannot charge the SoundLink III directly from the computer and that the SoundLink III cannot be used as a speakerphone device. However, our new SoundLink Mini II Bluetooth speaker does have the speakerphone feature. Also, the battery indicator does not show a percentage but shows the amount of remaining charge using the color of the LED when you hold the power button on top of the speaker: Green means 70% or more of a full charge , Amber 20% to 70% of a full charge , and Flashing Red:20% or less (charging needed).
The SoundLink III is a portable device and there is an option to recharge it using the car charger accessory. Also, the SoundLink III is by far our best-sounding Bluetooth speaker and you should definitely be getting outstanding audio from it, as well as up to 14 hours of battery life. It does not sound like that is the case and we would like to help.
One thing that can can help is to reset the system by holding the mute button for about 10 seconds until the 3 LEDs flash once. However, if that does not resolve it there are some other things to try. The system has a one-year warranty and we stand behind our product.
We have emailed you to learn more, but we are also available at 800-380-4831 Monday through Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday 9am to 7pm EST if you wanted to call instead.

Nothing is comparable

I have had this speaker for a long time and compare it to lots of speaker and i have found no other brand that can compete with it.
