DUH!!! It's a Bose. I got what was expected and am completely satisfied. Another in a line of Bose products that I own. Why waste the time and effort it takes to try a so-called equivalent?

I work onboard a ship with limited space in my room and the Soundlink III is perfect for the tight quarters. I am really happy I can listen to music with sound quality comparable to a much

Survived a Tornado

I have several Bose speakers ranging from the SLIII to the SL10 and they all surpass expectations for sound quality and durability. I accidentally left my SLIII on my deck during a torrential downpour that produced tornadoes and floods Christmas Eve. Didn't realize it until Christmas morning and I was more than a little disappointed. Let it sit on my counter for 24 hrs and hit the power button just to see what would happen. It immediately popped on, connected to my Bluetooth and started playing RL Burnside like nothing ever happened! Thank you Bose!!!

I bought my unit over a year ago and we absolutely love it. The sound reproduction is the best of any portable Bluetooth device, and I have owned various other brands. Frequency response is excellent, with solid bass and crystal sounding high frequencies. The only thing I would like to see is USB charging capabilities, it would reduce the need to pack one more charger.
This is the first item that gets packed for our travels, be it across state to the beach or our carry-on for overseas trips.

I bought this speaker while traveling, the sound and power just blow my mind.
Such a small speaker and such a high amount of power.
The sound quality will surprise you I have no dough.
I also added the charging dock wish I found very convenient.

IT NEVER GETS OLD

Ive had this very model for over 2 years now and I use it ALL the time. Amazing sound for a bluetooth speaker, i have no regrets about spending the money i did and i live on a tight budget. Just a little tip, place the speaker either in a corner of a room or near(NOT AGAINST) a wall to be able to feel the bass and create beautiful sound. Bose never
