This player is great! Having the "Smart" features made is the perfect match for my older Samsung TV that was missing these features. It was easy to setup and use.

I purchased this Blueray player to replace one that had just died. it is great...easy to set up and connect and also to connect to our wifi. I have many Samsung products and if I need an electronic item I check Samsung first and 9 times out of ten I end up with the Samsung. My only disappointment was that I couldn't hook this player up to my surround speakers from my previous Samsung bluray player. Otherwise for the price this a great player !!!

Samsung products always been my favorites.
This Samsung Blue-ray Player /DVD Player (Wireless LAN Built-in) its great. Im able to see movies , videos pictures ... etc. Samsung is the best !!!

Product lacks on/off light

I purchased this Blu-ray player to replace the same model player that I purchased about 4 years ago. I expected the current model to be essentially identical to the older model, only with a few upgrades to newer technology. Unfortunately, the J5700 seems to be a step backward. There are no lights on the front indicating that the door is open or a DVD is loading or a clock to show the amount of time that a DVD has been playing. In fact, there isn't even a light to tell you the player is on. This is very annoying. I would consider this device to be an basic entry level model rather than a more middle of the road. The player even seems to be a little flimsy.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, small footprint
Cons: no on/off light
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
