Buyer Beware

So disappointed in Samsung. Bought this as a family present for Christmas based on the websites description that is does play 3D blu ray discs. Well, come to find out the hard way, it does not.
Returning ASAP to Samsung. Please update your website with accurate information!

I like how it has wifi to watch Netflix and support multiple codecs to watch movies on my hard drive. It supports NTFS volumes unlike most products
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: the only buttons are on/off and eject

This model has no light letting you know wether its on or in standby mode.
Pros: Inexpensive

Digital Audio output is awesome. Bluray freezes up, no power-on indicator, slow response to commands

We returned the first one we bought when it kept freezing up and needing to be reset. The replacement one freezes less frequently but still does it. There is no way to see if power is on. Response time is slow for power on, eject disk, Netflix, etc.
Digital Audio output is awesome however.
Pros: Inexpensive, digital audio output
I would recommend this to a friend!

Picture is very clear. I like the TV related buttons, specially TV power and change TV input source. Caution: no light that indicates power on.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: no "on" light

bought for my living room to save wear and tear on my computer's blu ray player; very reasonably priced, and worked great, would recommend for anyone

Wish I'd bought a different player

I am so disappointed. I purchased this player about a month ago now and have been trying to look past the flaws of this player. I just can't. First off there is no power light button. Never realized how annoying something so little could be! Second of all in between episodes of Netflix the screen goes black and there is no way out of it. I could press any button on the remote or even on the DVD system itself and it doesn't turn off or go to another screen. I mean I can't even get the dang DVD tray to open. I have to literally unplug the whole thing. It is very inconvenient. I know its not Netflix because my other DVD player in the house works just fine with it. I've read other reviews about having the same problem. I wish I would of just returned it immediately. I will never buy another Samsung DVD player again.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, no on/off light

In Samsung you should keep the product appearance is key, is important, is what attracts consumers, it looks plastic with bad construction, despite all the features and awesome electronics it resembles overall poor quality.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, competitive price
Cons: bad design, poor material used, the usb port cover design & mechanism looks poor
