The set-up was quick and easy. You don't need a PHD in projectors to use this machine. I look forward to using the EX5210 in my presentations.

Epson EX5210 Projector

While I have not used the projector for a full presentation, I have set up and that was fast, simple, and easy. I would like to see a new cable accessory that has both USB and 15 pin VGA in various lengths; IE 25 & 50 feet.

Epson EX5210 is awesome

Just bought the EX5210 projector and love it! I bought it primarily to show presentations but discovered it can do a lot more. For the price, it's a great value. Very user friendly and I am amazed at the picture and sound quality. I also LOVE the features on the remote control! It has a pointer for presentations and I can use it to control the computer's mouse (too cool!) Another surprise is the carrying case - perfect for transporting it to and from school. Only one small disappointment keeps me from giving this 5 stars. I thought the flash drive/slideshow feature might let me show presentations without the computer. Turns out it's a PHOTO slideshow feature. No big deal and certainly not a deal breaker! Who would have thought technology could be so fun?

Exceeded Expectations

I took it out of the box and had it set up, presenting, within about 5 minutes.
I was concerned, given that I have a Mac, how well it would perform. The USB hook up was excellent and the MacBook picked up and calibrated instantly.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the remote allowed me to quickly and easily navigate my powerpoint presentation.
The price tag had me concerned, but I couldn't be happier.

Bought the projector one week ago. Very simple to set up with Mac computer. Excellent picture quality. Use it at home and office. Very convenient to carry around. I hook up with my lap top and use it frequently. I used a printer cable to hook up and it worked great. Used HDMI cable and even better.Nice machine. Can't live without it now. Highly recommend for home or office.

Some disappointing discoveries
on July 7, 2013

Epson advertises being able to present "slide shows" without using a laptop. Partially my fault, but I assumed that meant MS PowerPoint! Wrong guess; only jpg, bmp files.
Also the included product disk would not open the users guide. I had to go to the Epson website and download the PDF file. (There I discovered the slide show facts.)
One other minor surprise, the casing gets very hot in operation. I'm wondering how long the lamp will last at the high temperatures. Is the fan to small?
Other than those items, it is a very bright projector, sharp image, small, lightweight for traveling. Overall I'll give it a 4 star rating.
