Great Projector - Lousy Remote Control
on April 19, 2012

I do business presentations and I love my new projector, with one exception: the Remote Control. It's bulky and archaic.
With my last projector there was a beam light pointer that I could point and easily target my subject, but the Epson remote is quite cumbersome and wastes too much time having to use a button to manually drag the pointer to the spot you want it on the screen. This process almost appears archaic for a company that prides itself on the latest in technology advances.

I am extremely impress with this product. We use the projector for our training and certifications class in the fire department. The clarity and brilliance is amazing. The easy of use and operation makes it available to anyone. It worked out of the box with almost no instructions. Has been flawless through all our intructors.

Epson 5210 projector

This is one slick unit. when I initially purchased the unit, I had high expectations for its abilities, I has not disappointed me yet.How many of us sit in front of a small (in comparison) monitor screen leaning forward, squinting our eyes, causing neck and back pain even in some cases headaches? With this unit, I simply open my projector screen, power up the PC and Projector, and enjoy relaxing back onto the couch and looking directly ahead while playing video games, editing video files, editing my documents, etc. [Additional software required] - no more back or neck pain, and little to no headaches.
This particular unit has AV [stereo/video] connections, USB types A and B, Video connections, HDMI and S-Video connections. For any videophile, this unit is there for you. For audiophiles- if you are editing audio tracks, this unit will allow you to get a much more precise cut, copy, paste, add, split functions. I have connected a Digital TV tuner and watched games in a more 'lifesize' view without braving the cold. With this unit one can set it either front and center or on either left or rights side of the screen and normally using a single slider make the image as close to front dead center as it can. It allows you the opportunity to enlarge or shrink your display
there is nothing I have expected from this unit that it hasn't delivered for me. The option for using this unit on a network is not included sorry to say, but at the time of purchase this was not a high priority for me. I would recommend this unit to anyone who doesn't want to hunch over your monitor in order to read a line of text (within reason).

My favorites are among Quick-Corner, A user Logo, Freeze, A/V Mute Shutter, and more...
It is so Fast,
A) Turn the projector on
B) Plug in whatever your connecting to it
C) Use Quick-Corner to adjust the Perfect Keystone.
D) Focus the image and Viola!!
Oh, and that's it.
My bulb has 1,200 hours on it and it is still burning bright! I will always go with Epson WITHOUT QUESTION.

Epson EX5210 Projector

I bought this projector for speaking and business presentations after doing quite a bit of online research. I've had different Epson products for many years and trusted the quality of the brand. I am impressed with the ease of operation, the sleek design, the pricing and the features of this model. I particularly like the A/V mute (operated either from the unit itself or with the remote control) which allows me to switch between presentations without the audience being subjected to my computer desktop image. The horizontal slider feature is wonderful...no more fussing with the projector placement...I simply adjust the screen image with a touch of the slider and my display is squared up perfectly. This projector is excellent for my needs!

Happy with it

Recently bought an Epson EX5210 for a presentation. The presentation was that night, I have never used ANY projector before. It was a breeze. So easy to handle, easy to set up, plugged right in to my computer. packs away neatly and a great bag to carry it in with hand or shoulder carrying.

Epson 5210

This is the first projector I have purchased. I am 68 years old and had no trouble installing the unit and operating it. I found the intensity of the light to be extremely good even in a fairly bright room with windows. Of the many projection devices I have used, I feel that the Epson 5210 is an excellent device, easy to use and has a wide array of inputs for various sources.

I was in a pinch and needed to grab a projector for a meeting I was hosting. I picked up the projector at a box store and it worked perfect. pluged it in and had no issues whatsoever. I didnt have to load any software or drivers. it was suprisingly easy.
