Great Purchase

I purchased this projector to watch movies in my backyard, and it's performing flawlessly. It's like being at the drive-in movies without the car. I've already had two of my neighbors come over and ask what type of projector I was using because they enjoyed the quality of the picture from their yards. The funny part about this is that they've admitted to watching the movies all the way through. I can't wait for Monday Night Football!
What I like most about the projector besides the quality is its simplicity. It's really idiot proof. Everything is right there.

USB

I am writing to voice my positive interaction with the device and to clarify that which other reviewers have noted: what files work for the slideshow/USB. The USB only supports image files (jpg, bmp, png, gif). It does not support powerpoint or PDF directly from a USB drive without the use of a computer. Still a neat feature, but probably not what many were hoping for in the projector.

My EX7210 Multimedia Projector

This is my second Epson projector. The first one is the EX71 and I just love it.
I have just upgraded to the EX7210 for my main room.
Once again Epson have put out an A1 product. Price and quility!!!
The picture is as sharp and bright on my 100 inch screen as it is on my 47 inch led tv.
I have it set on ECO whice is the low setting for brightness and I can have lights on in the room and the picture is still bright, sharp and clear.
I would, and have recomended this product to a number of my friends and two of them have bought one.
It is so easy to setup and use. It took me about 5 min. I am very fussy when it comes to my electronics and I can asure you this product will not disappoint.

I made the right choice

I have had this projector for a month now. I am very pleased and glad I bought this unit for a number of reasons. First off the WXVGA resolution is just outstandning. It matches exactly the hightest resolution of my laptop, so when I am using it to display busy Power Point slides, its exactly what my laptop screen shows. More importantly, the 2800 lumens brightness is ideal for high ambient light situations. I can turn the brigtness down if needed as well as adjust shapness and color level. Another great feature is power down. You simply double click the power button and at that point can unplug the projector, you do not need to wait for cool down, its ready to go. Focus is right on top as is a new control to me that adjusts the projected image for screen to projector display angle. So instead of trying to center, level and square the projector to the screen, I can make a simple adjustment and the display is square and symetric on the screen. With a 5000 to 6000 hr bulb life, I am not going to buy a spare bulb for a while. The info position of the menu has a good hour meter for monitoring bulb life. All in all, a very easy to use, straight forrward unit to use, and light weight too.. I would recommend this to anyone who trains professionally as I do, it's a keeper.

Very pleased with this projector!!!

I am amazed at the quality of the image of this projector. My house became World Cup 2014 central as my friends saw many of the games on my living room wall. Nothing fancy no real screen but a white textured wall. And during daylight hours, of course the darker the room the better. I have watched soccer games, movies and now have to figure out a permanent place for this projector. I have an HDMI connection From cable dvr and my dvd player to projector. I have the sound coming out of both of those into a soundbar. The quality of sound from the projector is basic and ok but if you have enough connections from your source video , it is not a problem. My friends are amazed at the good buy for this refurbished projector. I have to inquire as to how long the lamp life is as that is my only concern. I have had the projector over a month and so far it is by far a great value and I would buy Epson again.

very pleased with my astronomy slides and the clarity and brightness so far. i think this is a good unit for the money. havent downloaded any movies so far though.
the usb port is great, however, you can't use the flashdrive for anything that has to be opened with a program. IE PowerPoint, word, etc. but for movies i suppose you could use it for that if they have been download from dvd but really have not tried that yet . But i will in the future. You can use the usb port with a computer though, and display anything you want.
epson has also some friendly service help that was informative and very helpful in working out some initial bugs at the beginning.

Great Projector, Great Price

I teach photography and Photoshop classes in the southwest Florida area. I have used other projectors before and found them lacking. What was really an issue for me was the color. I would always have to tell my students that "it looks better on my monitor". After looking for a projector that had great reviews and was in my price range, I choose the EX7210. I choose to go with the HDMI connection as that was going to get me the best reproduction on screen and would handle the current and future graphics cards that are in laptops with higher resolutions and widescreens.
I fired up the projector and let it warm up for a few minutes before I started to watch some of my slide shows that I use in class. I was AMAZED at the trueness of the color! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Also, using the HDMI cable, the audio went directly to the projector instead of the laptop which is nice since the projector is located in the middle of the classroom so everyone can hear.
The other great feature that I liked was the options to fix any key stoning issues. This particular model has one that is automatic, however you can override it and the other direction is as easy as a flick of a switch.
The set up was easy, I turned on the laptop first and connected the projector and turned that on next. All went well as planned.
In a nutshell, I would highly recommend this product if you need to use it for education or even at a trade show. The fan was not loud and is compact enough to carry with the included case. This is going to make my life so much easier.

Excellent multi-use projector

The Epson EX7210 is a great mid range multimedia projector for both business presentations as well as casual TV and movie viewing. Setup is extremely easy. A VGA cable and a USB cable are both included to get you set up quickly. After simply plugging your devices into the projector's ports, it is just a matter of aiming it at a screen or blank wall and turning it on. It warms up quickly and automatically adjusts vertical keystone based on its current position. Other picture adjustments are provided to help you fine tune your image as well.
As far as the picture quality, colors are very saturated and bright. Details are crisp and text is quite easy to read from any reasonable distance. Black levels are by no means deep, but should suffice for daytime watching, especially with brighter programs like talk shows and sports, and of course PowerPoints and websites.
When you are done, the Epson shuts down nearly instantly, allowing you to pack it into the included carrying case right away (though you may want to give it a few minutes to cool down, as it gets quite hot during use). Overall, I would highly recommend this projector for those looking for a good quality, portable projector for everyday business and personal use.
