Does not focus as sharply as I would like and there is no fine adjustment to the focus. MacBook Pro will mirror through the USB connection so you can see what is on the screen but I have not found a reliable way to connect an iPhone or iPad (unless you are running YouTube videos). As popular as iPhones and iPads seem to be that is somewhat disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dificult to use

I have yet to be able to get the projector to work with a thumb drive. I have tried multiple thimb drives without success. I also have difucluty hooking up to my laptop.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Epson EX7210

I just picked up my new projector last night but was able to get it set up and working today. It responded to my computer quickly and without too much anxiety. I had used another brand at another time so knew a little bit about how things connected. That made it much simpler.
However if I had not known what I knew I would perhaps have not figured things out so fast as there were good pictures but the terminology was never explained. In the rather daunting list of "the following connections" I had to read it several times to figure out which was which and what went where..
Such as, what was the USB and What was the VGA.
I was not able to control anything with the remote until I found the user guide on line and it explained I needed that other stray "USB type B" cable to make it work. Now it is all working fine and I love it.
One must consider that some people just aren't technology whizzes and need helpful things like "match the red dot on the blue cable to the red dot found above one of the holes in the side or back of the computer". etc. Then you only have to contend with color blindness. All that being said, I would buy it again. It's a great projector. This is said from my vast experience of one day in which I managed to learn a lot!.

My Great Epson EX7210 Projector

If you're looking for a versatle projector for personal or business use, at a fair cost, look no further than the Epson EX7210. I've been absolutely delighted with the USB flash drive feature (no pc needed) as well as the choice of multiple connectivity options. I also like the easy to follow on screen guide. Thanks for a great product.

Great Choice

With a Windows 7 laptop, time to upgrade projectors. Great choice, took seconds to learn all of the features. Remote is clunky, especially compared with generic wireless remotes. You'll love being able to set up off center and adjust horizontal, as well as vertical, keystone.
