Year 2 Bricked - always freezes over

I bought this unit less than 2 years ago. First year worked fine. Year 2 the unit started to freeze over very quickly after turning on. I followed all maintenance instructions as this is an expensive unit. All coils are immaculately clean. Best guess is that there is a refrigerant leak which means the first coil freezes and turns the whole unit into a nonworking block of ice. I can’t afford to buy a new dehumidifier every 1.5 years. AVOID IF YOU WANT RELIABILITY. Works in the short term does NOT work more than a year. Don’t take the chance.

Stopped working

Breaks down after a year of use

First one I bought it only lasted a year until FO error code kept turning it off. I returned it and got a new one. Then again after the first year of use, the FO error code kept turning it off.

Broke after only 22 months

This was expensive, I expected it to last for years, not less than 2.
It was making a guiding noise and was running very hot. Glad I was home to unplug it.

Quit working after 3 months

Bought 8/16/17. Was working great until last night October 29, 2017. It turned off, so I cleaned filter. Will run but does not draw water out. Another one bit the dust. I have to have a dehumidifier in this location, but I am getting tired of them going out on me. This one didn't last anytime.

Unit failed less than a year

I got model FFAD3033R1 which was provided as part of new construction home. The unit failed with error code F0. I have cleaned the filter multiple times but the issue did not go away. Very disappointed with the experience. I have contacted customer service for replacement which is in progress
