I do find the computer to be slower than I had thought it would be.
The system says I need to do a backup and a system update and directs me to Lenovo's website, but I can not do either function. Unfortunately, the Lenovo site doesn't just pull up and allow you to install all the updates and whatnot based on your model number. My last computer was a Sony VAIO and that was a nice feature. One click to find updates and one click to install them. If the Lenovo site was more user friendly and catered to those of us who are not as adept at using the new technologies available then I would be truly pleased. I had hoped to find a simple explanation of how to achieve the 2 tasks that my computer is instructing me to do.

I am so impressed with the speed of this machine. It also has more features than I will likely ever use. Past reviews I read indicated a learning curve with adapting to Windows 8. While this is true, this would be the case with any machine currently purchased. I am adapting to Windows 8. The Lenovo hardware I purchased is very impressive and well worth the price I paid.

My C560 replaced my old Dell which had become very slow to boot and download. The C560 is a pleasure. It is fast and reliable. The screen size is just right and easy to angle. My transition to Windows 8.1 from XP went much more smoothly than I anticipated. The 8.1 version made the transition much easier. I am still learning and enjoying it. I wish it came with Microsoft Office, but I guess that would have added $100 to the price. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase.

the most difficult thing about this computer is getting accustomed to Windows 8. The screen is beautiful and everything works as expected. I just need to learn how to make the most of it.

This is my first home pc and it was the best decision I made! I have only had it for a week but so far it is working great! The touch screen works wonderfully too.
