Didn't like it at first because it was quite expensive but my wife liked it right away. She was really excited about the slide -out hood. She cooks a lot food with a lot of steam and vapors and our old oven just could not blow them away. Boy, was she really excited to use this and it did not disappoint her. Other features are standard as with other brands but it seems like this oven works better in some ways. And , yes, the wife is happy that this oven does not make a loud sound when cooking which is another cool feature.
Will definitely consider buying other LG products in the future as we are impressed with our fist LG product

Love all the features and settings

We bought this LG microwave along with matching LG range and dishwasher in January. We looked at a lot of products and read a lot of reviews before choosing the LG appliances. So far we're very satisfied with this microwave. The many features and settings are great. The extenda vent is a handy feature when cooking on the large front burners of the range. The melt and soften settings work perfectly. All in all, very satisfied.

Wonderful over-the-range microwave, great features

Love the extendable vent, the quiet fan operation, the popcorn button... everything about it! I didn't want to pay this much, but had another brand that was terrible; so, considering you get what you pay for, this one is well worth the extra outlay! It has a nice feel to it, it cooks fast and efficiently, is easy to clean, has a nice light over the range so I can see what I'm doing.. I wish I'd bought this one, first!

Very Good Choice

We did extensive research before purchasing this unit. We have an LG split unit in our garage and are very happy with it. Black was required over stainless(which we are replacing). Your choices become fewer if you do not like stainless. The warming light is what got my attention first. Works wonderfully at keeping food warm or warming plates. The unit is quiet. That was the first thing we noticed once it was installed. Evenly cooks all foods, sensor cooking is very accurate. I like the controls being within easy reach at eye level,extend-a vent works well at removing vapors when using the front burners too. Research showed problems with the controls being in front. Apparently cooking vapors were messing with the control panel. These reports were from two years ago, the problem has not happened for us. Large interior capacity makes using larger dishes much easier. The only thing I would change is for the interior light to be a little brighter.

The microwave has awesome features

The microwave is really easy to use and we like the shelving in it for ease of use in heating up multiple items. I like the under lights as well as the exhaust fan for they are are a real nice added feature.

LG products are TERRIBLE!

Every single LG product I have bought for my kitchen remodel has been a disgrace. Nothing is reliable. My microwave just stopped working!
