All the features we need!

We have gone through 2 microwave over-the-oven varieties in 5 years. Steam from the front burners seems to somehow short out the touch panels. The Extenda-Vent AND the Turbo Boost fan ENDED that problem! ALL the features on this LG microwave are completely usable AND intuitive--even for me, the husband! The 2.0 ft3 is also great for large items.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, actually vents from oven below!
I would recommend this to a friend!

It takes a bit to get used to all the buttons but once you've mastered it, there's no end to the many things you can do.

This is the best microwave I've ever owned! I've never bought an LG product before this. I'm glad I bought this microwave. It cooks food a lot faster and more evenly than any previous microwave that I've owned!

We love the extending vent for use over the front burners. I also like the soften butter and keep warm features having different levels within the feature. Defrost beeps and tells you to turn the item over. Overall, this oven is well worth the investment and has made our life a lot easier!

I have had this for several years. I like everything about it, mostly that it is still working. This is the third microwave in 9 years. The others were not LG and just quit after about 2 years. It is same size on outside as others, but the inside is very large. It does all types of things as well. Melt chocolate and butter for one. You will enjoy this product

Good features when working! BEWARE!!!!

Bought in October 2011 and had to have computer board replaced one month later. That lasted about 6 months and had to have the computer board replaced again. First time was because there was no beeps to let you know when it was done or when pushing the keypads. The 2nd time was because it was not sensing moisture and all of the special functions would not work. When warranty runs out I will buy another brand if it breaks again. I don't recommend buying this microwave.

user interface difficult

The pull out vent is a nice feature but very noisy. Need too push too many buttons to set time. For example our previous microwave we pushed 2 for 2 minutes. On this one I need to push cook time 2,0,0 to get the same thing. Also seems to overcook foods based on box instructions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
