Affordable Laptop That Performs Better Than Others

As a college student, money is tough. But for $500, the Lenovo Yoga did the trick. I would've gone for the Chrome book but it doesn't offer many features like this bad boy does. With my Lenovo Yoga, man, I can get schoolwork done, listen to music, play some FIFA, and stream YouTube with no problems. The battery life itself surprised me! One time, with minimal use, the laptop lasted 3 days before I needed to give it some juice. Now thats good quality. How can this laptop get better? It's light! Why drag a 5 pound laptop, hurting your back, when you can carry a 3 pound joy as if it's nothing? But wait! There's more! It moves 360 degrees! What?! Basically for $500, I got myself a laptop, a tablet, and a stand. Whether I'm on the go, or in class and need some space on my small college desk, the 360 degree movement truly makes life efficient. If you have the money, go for the Yoga 2. It's about twice the price but you'd be getting twice the efficiency. Go make your life easy.

A great starter Windows 8 computer. It has a Pentium processor which is great for everyday activities including some light gaming and editing. Overall, it's a great computer. The touch screen is responsive and the build quality is a little above average. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Excellent Linux machine

I played with Windows 8.1 for a week or two on the Yoga and found it to be more comfortable than other reviews. I believe that's because of the touch screen, which it was obviously made for.
Once I installed Ubuntu 14.04, however, I have not booted back into Windows since. Everything works well: touch, sound, webcam, wifi - it's all very stable.
The size is perfect for me and the build quality is very good (though the black plastic has been scratched and gouged a bit more easily than I would wish).
I don't think I'm taking advantage of the convertible nature of the Yoga enough, though. I rarely find a reason to flip it around and use it as a tablet, but when I do it works.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love my yoga, purchased it at Best Buy having never used a Lenovo product and I'm so happy with my purchase. I use it for light Web browsing, occasionally watching movies and photo editing. It starts up within seconds and is very user friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mobile Agile and Hostile

My Lenovo Yoga has enabled me to attack projects at work, projects at school, and everything in between. I can do anything I need to and because of the compact size and weight I can do whatever wherever I want. I commute roughly two hours each day. The bus and train ride are now productive because of my Yoga. The size any positions make it a must have.
