all in one

When I was looking for a new laptop I knew I wanted one that was light and could go anywhere. I was torn between an IPad and a laptop but I needed the functionality of the laptop. When I saw the "all in one" capabilities of the Lenovo Yoga, I knew I had hit the jackpot!

Great portable option - I use this in the kitchen, on the couch, or while in bed. It boots up right away, great piece of technology and a must have for the tech geek!

Have had my Yoga 2 11.6" for 5 months with no issues. Light weight and small size is great for international travel. Pentium version has been plenty fast enough for my business use with Office 365 as my primary use. Battery last all day without any problems. Good sound and great picture quality when streaming videos. Love the 360 hinge which allows "tent mode" when watching videos. The touch screen is also great. No need for any other laptop or desktop computer. This is the only computer I use.

Best Laptop For College Classes

I really enjoy the touch screen aspect to this computer. The response to when I turn the computer on is very quick, once I turn the computer on it only takes a few moments until the screen turns on. It is very thin so I am able to easily carry it to classes and it never gets heavy. I am able to research a topic in class while also taking notes on the same screen, I love that I can have more than one window open on the same screen so I can do more than one thing at a time. The only thing that is frustrating is that certain websites are not compatible with this computer. But there is no such thing as a perfect computer so I over look it.

A good Laplet for what I use if for

I've had my Yoga 2 11 since the beginning of March 2014 after researching tablets and 2-in-1's for three months and am very happy with my purchase.
I already have a powerful home desktop so I was looking for a budget device that would be able to give me the feel of a tablet while powerful enough to allow me to do my work using the MS Office applications. The keyboard on the Yoga feels natural and the onscreen keyboard is very responsive. I also like the many ways the Yoga 2 11 can be viewed (tent mode, tablet mode, stand mode, or normal laptop mode).
A few things to note:
1. Calibrate, Calibrate, Calibrate! For touch screen calibration, go to Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - Tablet PC Settings - "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input"
2. The device comes with Lenovo bloatware installed. Some useful, some not. But you can uninstall them at your liking.
3. You'll need to purchase a separate 5GHz wireless adapter for higher internet speeds.

Best Purchase, Try Investment Ever

I love the battery life and the value of the computer. It's small and slim enough to take in my giant purse yet the screen is more than generous for everyday usage and video streaming. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase as I didn't have much to spend when I was in a bind. I'm a Lenovo user for life now!

Pretty good for the price

there are a lot of features I really like. I love that you can fold it at any angle (more brands are doing this now). Battery life is so-so but then again I don't use laptops regularly. Keyboard is great. I love that they're separate keys. I love the touch/mouse options.
Cons: I wish the screen would stay brighter, it tends to dim but when it says it is on the brightest setting. Sometimes it takes a long time to load or freezes. It took me a while to figure out how to change settings around things like setting the desktop view as the home screen (instead of the windows 8 view). All of the settings are just like a normal window's computer but they're just hard to find and access.
