Easy to use as in recording and handling it. Nice, compact and battery life so far will last most all day on a all day event with out recharge. Would have gave it a 5 star if deleting multiple recordings would more user friendly, too many actions to do one thing. Had no issues transferring video to computer for uploads.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We're happy to know that you love the camcorder. As for deleting selected files. using the computer is also an alternative. When done with importing, just select the files to be deleted in the computer or set your software to delete files after import.

Extremely nice camera for the price

This camcorder is a great little camera for anyone, especially video bloggers. It's very user friendly in that it's very easy to control and navigate through its features; it even alerts you when the lens cover is closed. Not only does it have a 52X zoom, but it also has a movable display screen so you can see yourself when filming a "vlog" or interview or other such things. Though the pictures become a bit grainy in the dark, they are beautiful in the daylight and the videos are lovely. Overall, this is one of the best camcorders you can get when you lack the ridiculous $600+ dollars that one would need for higher quality cameras. I highly recommend it to anyone. :)

This is the best movie camera I've ever owned. It's hard to believe that something this small and light does so much. The battery lasts forever before needing recharging.

Not as advertised

The camera arrived today. I bought this camera because the specifications on the Sony store website under "Interface" said it had a "microphone input: stereo minijack. That was the main feature I was looking for in a consumer camcorder and when my package arrived today there was no sign of external jack. I got on the Sony website to review the online manual, and there was no manual on-line (as of Feb. 8). So I called tech support and get a recording, "we are experiencing longer than normal wait times..." I finally spoke to a couple of people who seemed to agree the camera won't accept outside mic. The customer sales reps were very nice, but together we were not able to identify an adaptor or any solution to tie just purchased Sony wireless mic to my new Sony camera. The camcorder is a beautiful color and looks like it would be basically easy to use and is very lightweight. I don't know what to do now. I just spent over a $100 on an external mike and about $70 on a 64GB micro SDXC and $20 dollars on a camera bag. I need a camera to record short videos outside in wind for YouTube and I don't think this camera is going to work. I like purchasing online because of the convenience but I depend on the information on consumer web sites to be accurate. Very frustrating, especially after waiting weeks for this new camera to be released.
