Got this camera last summer took it on vacation this camera is used by many vloggers and it is so capable. So much options wish they would come out with some more guides for all the features awesome time lapse etc

This camera is old but i have 6 for streaming and i'm hoping they come out with an updated one soon because their hard to find!

Have had it for less than a week. Read the manual back and forth..,again and again. I am slowly getting used to all the functions. Picture is EXCELLENT...sooo much better than the ZOOM Q3HD I had before. You can't even talk about them on the same day!
The audio mix function is...FANTASTIC. There, I said it.
The built in mice are excellent, too.

Pros: good battery life, Good Low-Light Performance, Easy Computer Connectivity, Great sound/audio, Accurate, Vivid Colors, Compact Design, excellent image quality, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold

Favorite camera.

It is great for daily recording and traveling. The foot eliminates the need for a tripod and the screen, eliminates the need to connect it to a mobile phone, which is always a hassle with every devise I have tried. Sound is great, it has a mic input so can use this also as an audio recorder. The wide angle is perfect, it captures my family of 4 at small restaurant table. I'm crossing my fingers they do not discontinue this camera. I recently bought the Keymission 80 hoping to update my Mini X but it just felt short on all the things I listed above. Thanks Canon.

Very portable and high performance videocamera

I have bouht one three years ago and i'm so pleased with its Performance. I want to buy a New one but I have found out that it is discontinued. Hope it is again placed into the market. Please let me know If you are going to reissue a new Version of the Vixia Mini X Video camera.

Great camcorder!

You can lock exposure and manually adjust white balance, BUT you do NOT have independent control over the ISO, Aperture, and Shutter speed. Those are all on automatic and you never know your exposure values. This makes no sense to me because you can do this on almost all other Vixia cameras.
Can't find the ability to turning off the screen or hide elements on screen (like INFO button on DSLR cameras)
Pros: Great sound/audio, Compact Design, Ergonomic/comfortable to hold
Cons: limited custom settings (iso shutter)
