A woofer

Had this less than a month and the sub woofer just stopped working. I looked to see it the connection was the problem but it wasn't. It made contact . And nothing was broke . The unit still works but its not working at full capacity.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sub Woofer isn't working.

Phenomenal for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been an amazing system. Nothing else comes close for the price as far as overall volume, you would need a full sized shelf system over 500 $ to beat the loudness.
Good bass, it tapers off at 35 hertz (will not work excellent for trap or for very low tones in the 20-40hertz range) or so but other than that the bass really kicks. Overall volume can hurt your ears, even at around halfway.
Connectivity is a huge plus, red white rca in, as well as USB x2, and mobile aux. in, and Bluetooth streaming as well. Good for price.
Only improvement is that the subwoofer is boxed with two very large bass vents that are too big for lower frequencies and do not allow the lower tones to play well, negatively effecting the sonic signature. This should be changed, future systems should have only one bass vent hole or much smaller holes. I corked one off and it has changed the sonic signature to my liking.
RMS watts is Est. 630, extremely high for the price.

Didn't realize wiring was direct into the speakers and sub.Would be nice to have length.EQ and sound effect are pretty much the same,but o.k.Cranks pretty loud! Would be better if you could sync to any tv, only LG. Overall it's nice for the price.

What ? No AM Radio ?

I received my LG CM - 4550 and I'm very happy with the quality of the sound but I'm very unhappy this model has no AM Tuner.
Perhaps I'm too old at 68 years but AM Radio should ALWAYS be a part of any stereo / CD Player package
