I received a SoundLink 3 as a gift for my birthday and bought the Navy Blue cover. I like it very much. I must say it should be a bit more tight and probably should consider to cover the buttons also. Anyway, it's really cool!!! Greetings from Lima, Peru

Fits snug! I've had it for 2 months and take it everywhere. Everyone that sees it loves it, and wants to get one. The one I have it bright pink, love it!

Very loose, sloppy fit...uncharacteristic for Bose

I bought this and installed it as per the instructions. Straight out of the packaging it was loose and hung to either side on the top by about 1/8" .The side with the zipper has about a 1/4" gap where the gasket / flange ends don't meet. The zipper placement is probably off by this amount. This is a design that doesn't allow for any error as the top seal is held with tight with tension, but there is only a small amount of 'pleather' with which to accomplish this. Pictures will be included. {{ Note: After trying, unsuccessfully, for almost an hour I GIVE UP on trying to include a photo... }}
I own many Bose products ( Soundlink III, 901 series 3, AM-7, 301, 101, 100, SoundTouch 135 as well as various on and in ear headphones ). At work I use Bose presentation equipment for lectures. My car even came with a factory Bose system. I have been thoroughly delighted with the quality, design, and function of them all.
My 901 series 3 set-up was bought in the early 1970's and is still in daily use...this is a testament to the usual Bose quality. I can only assume that the poor build of this relatively minor purchase (the case for my SL-III) is an isolated incident and that it is not indicative of a change of the Bose philosophy.
I now feel somewhat abused...I will probably be a little suspicious of Bose products and accessories in the future.

Hello there,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of the SoundLink Bluetooth speaker III cover. We appreciate the feedback, especially from a loyal customer who has owned so many of our products over the years. The cover for the SoundLink III should be snug, and not loose like you have described. This definitely sounds like something that is going on with that particular case. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble and would like to help.

We have reached out by email to help you with this, but we are also available by phone at 800-380-4831 Monday through Friday 9am to 9pm and Saturday 9am to 7pm EST if you wanted to call.

While the faux leather case is undoubtedly attractive it would, in real world situations, provide a minimal amount of protection for the unit. Case fits well except at the top where were it not for the "rubber gasket" like liner - the case would most likely sag.
