Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: would love to be able to buy an otterbox typa cas

I love my new Samsung camera with wifi. It has some pretty awesome features, such as the selfie alarm. You'll never take another selfie with half of you in the frame. It also has the baby setting that catches the babies or animals attention before taking 5 pics in a row. I love it. I actually took pics of the dogs looking into the camera. You can also send pics from the camera to your friends phone or upload them straight to Facebook. You won't be disappointed with this camera!
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, very user friendly

I never thought I'd buy a camera like the Samsung GC-200, but I'm very glad I did. Regardless of my years as a filmmaker using everything from 16mm, Hi8, Beta Sp and DV-Cam etc., I wasn't sure how and if I could learn the new technology of the GC-200. Ultimately it was an easy education.
The bottom line; Samsung made a "tech savvy" camera that has a small learning curve if you take the time to read the manual while exploring your camera. This camera has terrific capabilities for still photos and the HD video is more than I could have wished for.
If you don't have time to learn all the great options this camera can offer, you'll still have a great camera that will deliver remarkable pix/video even in "smart/easy" mode. Enjoy!

Great camera!!

I needed a new camera that was easy to use and lightweight... this camera fits my needs perfectly. Great features built-in and easy to use. Works like my Samsung phone but it takes better pictures and the zoom is awesome.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, easy to share pictures via wi-fi., easy to change modes of shooting.

Great idea - terrible camera

Short version - if you are taking indoor shots of pets or kids then this camera is NOT for you.
Long version. I figure there are 3 levels of cameras - cell phones are the worst - pocket point and shoot cameras are next and are pretty good - DSL cameras the best.
I figured this camera would combine the best of cameras - being upload to facebook, napchat, instagram - and the best of the pocket point and shoot cameras.
I have a samsung Galaxy s5 - which really like - but it takes terrible indoor shots. It just can't get a fast enough shutter speed to get a clear picture with a moving subject. I was hoping this camera would do better.
It doesn't. Not even a little bit. Shutter speed indoors is 1/8 of a second which is just terrible and results in blurred subjects every time. I'm really familiar with cameras and have a photography blog so I'm not scared of messing with the setting to get a better picture. I tried everything - this just doesn't have it.
Pros: google play apps
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations, terrible pictures
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Manual written for geeks & nearly useless.

I bought this camera for its wifi ability, but it is almost a compete mystery on how to get the wifi features to function as advertised. The manual is poorly written; geared towards geeks and not for average new users. Net & Youtube videos have been little help. I bought this camera to take, upload and view photos using wifi- not play games, get e-mails, surf the net, etc. The manual needs to focus on the photography functions.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, nice sharp colorful photos
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor manual, wifi operation a mystery, too much focus on non-photography features, little net support on wifi photography features, slow power on, slow shutter time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wifi function makes life easy

Purchased this camera to speed up process of getting pictures of cars uploaded to our webpage faster. The camera takes great pictures and is easy to use. Upload via wifi saves about an hour to two hours a day making staff more productive. Battery life is good even when leaving camera on all day, have used the camera two weeks and haven't had a day that the battery has died.
Pros: Inexpensive
