[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] washer will get mold on rubber seal no matter if you clean every month mold still exists and will make clothes smelly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just love my new washer!! I was so tired of my (old) new washer which was suppose to be so quiet and super capacity. It was so loud and walked across my laundry room floor. I search all the product lines and was told by a friend of mine that her son had the LG and loved it. Well, I ordered it and I am so happy I did. I can not hear this washer when in use, and my laundry is so clean!! I don't think my clothes have ever been this clean in my 35 years of married life. I have also noticed how soft all the clothes are now, just such a huge difference.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, quiet
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most AMAZING washer I have ever had!!!!

After installation, I washed one load. I was surprised by the long wash time, but the dry time definitely offsets that ... so no big deal. Plus I used the pre-wash setting, which adds about 20 minutes to the cycle. So I washed a total of 4 loads, including a load of towels. This washer is so quiet, I love how it checks the weight of the load at the beginning of every cycle except for Large/bulky loads (that's what I put the towels on). The clothes are nearly dry after the spin cycle, and I would swear that my whites are whiter than they have ever been after one wash ... and that was without bleach!! This washer is my NEW BEST FRIEND!!

Had a problem with vibration.Called tech, told me everything to do and corrected problem. Proved to be user error. I am very glad of my selection.

Great product...check the water hammer

Just got the washer...works great and easy to use, BUT it caused major water hammer issues. So need to call the plummer to get water hammer resolved...

Hard to keep the Washer Clean

Although this washing machine cleans my clothes very well, the washer itself is difficult to maintain. The rubber rim on the door is constantly collecting lint which gets caught in the tiny crevices at the bottom of the seal. I have to get q-tips or toothpicks to pick out the lint. You also have to empty the bottom wet, lint area regularly or it gets moldy. I would NOT purchase this machine again, only because I hate having to clean it so much - and if you forget, you are reminded with a moldy odor.
Pros: hard to maintain
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Too Many Options

I think this washer is beautiful to look at and has a sleek shiny stainless interior. I am glad to have a front loading machine because I am convinced it is better for the clothes to not be "agitated" and it does save water. Unfortunately, it is impossible to figure out how much detergent to use. I use less and less all the time and still have too many suds, so I lose the value of saving water by adding extra rinses. There are many options but none seems to combine the settings I most want. The biggest problem is that the clothes simply do not spin dry enough for me. The second problem is that everything takes too long. I cannot adjust the time that the setting will take, so a small lightly soiled delicate load might be in the washer for nearly an hour. There is the added peculiar requirement to empty and drain the lint trap (I've never needed to do that before with any washing machine brand) which never has anything in it to be emptied. I did do the washer cleaning required and the washer smelled like the cleaning product for over a week, which was a problem for me because I use only "free and clear" detergent. So, some features are good; others, not so much.
