This washer does everything I need from it. The allergene setting is perfect for bedding. I can select steam wash as needed. The energy saving cold wash also works well. I am very happy with this product.
The only thing I can't comment on is durability as I've only had it for about 2 months.

Love this washer. It is quiet, excellent job done on dirty clothes, uses minium water, spins the clothing almost to the point of being dry which is a great money saver because the dryer does not run too long.

This is the best washer I have had. It is very quiet, has great features, uses less water and detergent but still gets clothes cleaner then other machines I have had. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I have a family of 5. With my traditional washer "laundry day" was every other day. With this nice big HE washing machine, I now only do laundry twice a week! The laundry comes out nice and clean. The settings are easy to understand and it is easy to run. I heard from friends that front loaders could be noisy. This one is so quiet I've never had a problem with noise or shaking. My kids like the "done" song it plays at the end of the wash cycle. Laundry is fun!

We feel lucky with LG

We hadn't purchased a washer or dryer for 14 years and now we couldn't avoid it.
We asked around about using front load style machines and were told about some of the disappointments that others have had with the front load machines, primarily with the washers. So we had our doubts about going this route, especially because these cost more than the top loaders.
THE LAUNDRY CHORES ARE WONDERFUL NOW!!
We love the ease of operation (starting with our first time), function selection, very quiet, using less water and detergent, and how these units compliment our very small but newly remodeled laundry room.
One major concern that we had heard from others was the mold and smell issues around the front door seal. This is something that LG has considered and improved on. There's a door feature that keeps the door ajar so the door and seal can air dry when not in use and doesn't drip outside of the machine and it works GREAT.
LG has provided a wonderful user experience for us and we're hooked.
