attention to those with children (toddler)

One of the things that made me buy it was the fact that it has a child lock (other than the great value for all the features and customer service). This is so that I can do laundry anytime in the day (doesn't have to wait for bed time).
The child lock worked for all buttons, except for the power button (!!!) which my active toddler pushed on and off most often when we are in visiting the laundry room (he loves to listen to the melody). When I turn it on again, it would reset all the previous setting (as stated in the book) and I could only either restart the washing process from the very beginning, or risk it and do the 'rinse and spin' cycle. Not very happy with this......
Now I had to do laundry when my husband around or when my child is asleep. just as if there were no child lock...

I love my LG WW2250CW model front load washing machine. I have only had it for 2 months now and I can't stop using it. The amount of water it uses is amazing to me. I especially like the speed wash feature.

We just went from a 15 year old set, to this frontloading set... ( we bought the matching dryer) I like how quiet this washer is..
I also like the fact that it'll cost only $10.00 for the YEAR in electricty... there's a small learning curve to all the bells and whistles.. it only took us a few loads to figure out what was best for us..

Also,, classy announcement ringer at the end of the cycle.. (Not that you buy a washer for it's sounds),,, but cool!

Great washer and dryer combo. Only thing we do different is leave the washer door open after use to allow it to dry out faster.

I love doing laundry now! My clothes come out cleaner and I use way less detergent. Very easy to use.

I am very impressed with this washer. it is quiet, it is large capacity. I have 4 small grandchildren, I do alot of laundry, clothes are clean!

I wish I had never bought this washing machine

I really hate this washing machine. I wish I had done more research before I bought it. I would not have bought it if I had known I couldn't select the load size or that the clothes really didn't get moved around in water like in a top loader. I know my clothes are not getting clean. I can still smell my husbands deodorant in his shirts and stains don't come out. And no matter how much clothes I put in the washer the load sensor level never goes above 2 bars. And how much laundry detergent to use is just a big guessing game.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
