Great Product

This is definitely a great product I have had mine for several years. What I don't like is finding trouble shooting information when something is wrong. I have owned my washer for a few years now and found out the hard way that I have been using too much detergent. The error code is listed however the recommendation on resolving the error does not go far enough in depth, what was stated did not work so now what? ***Be sure to use the recommended amount of detergent*** When I researched my error on the internet I found what part they suggest I should try but I cannot find it on this website. There are people that can't afford service agents!!! Bummed!!!

Real quality product, great value for money

We bought a combo - a drier and the washer. Both are amazingly easy to operate. The controls are smooth and precise. Even I can produce the same top results as my wife with this machine. Great stuff.
The word of caution: watch the installers. My first bunch of mechanics cut corners and did not install according to LG instruction sheets which are inside the machines. So ask your seller to show you the instructions and read them and check on the installation process. E.g. my first installers said that the hoses and the hose fixture were not supplied by LG, which was a downright lie. When I discovered this I advised the seller and they sent another team to correct the installation.

It's OK but not great

I have had a front loading washing machine for many years. This is my first LG. I have not been too impressed so far. The clothes are always VERY wrinkled even if you take them out of the washer immediately.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good product, but it rocks the house

Overall I'm satisfied with this washer. Cleans clothes well, although our whites get pretty dingy. Could it be the plant based detergent I use? However, we installed this washer on the riser drawer, and the washer rocks so much that it rocks the entire house. I can't leave anything sitting on top of the washer, it will get jiggled off and crash onto the floor. I'm taking the washer off the risers and installing a counter above the washer and dryer so I can store items on the counter, since I can't leave anything on top of the rocking washer.

Would never buy again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this machine now for three years, and yes it taken this long for me to write a review. I'm truly disappointed with this machine. I find it does not properly wash/clean clothes. I'm constantly returning to having to hand wash items once they come out of the machine. I have tried all detergents which are HE standard and makes no difference.
The rubber seal by the door is disgusting despite doing the tub clean and wiping it down. The seal is difficult to clean and therefore it smells due to what I can only describe as possibly mold type black residue. It is impossible to completely dry under the seal due to space. I will never

Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer five years ago and had to replace the door gasket twice due to mold issues. The final straw was the bearing went out in the drum. The repair cost was half the price of a new washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my worst appliance decision ever! Even thought I cleaned monthly as the manual instructed, my washer developed a stink that permeated our towels and other clothes. It was disgusting. I've thrown the machine out!
