I was a little leary about getting a front load machine. I was warned that once the wash started, I would not be able to add more clothes. Not true. What truly impressed me was the spartan use of water. From what I see, the clothes take much less abuse than a top loader. And I can see it will be able to handle sheets and bed covers without an agitator in the middle to damage them.
Very cool machine and excellent features for the money. Well done LG !!!

I am pleased with the performance. The options that are available suit every possible laundry situation.
I chose LG as it was rated high on Consumer Reports

I've owned my new washer for a little over a month now and I absolutely LOVE IT!! I wash fewer loads of clothes because of the large capacity. It's quiet, uses less detergent, fabric softener. It is simply wonderful!! I couldn't be more pleased. I can fit my queen size comforters, large blankets and all. No more trips to the laundry mat for large bulky items!! It is very easy to use and uses less water.

Best front loading washing machine ive had

I bought this model as it was a best buy recommended by consumer reports and was on sale at the time. I can't fault it so far and is excellent at every level.
I'm from Europe where front loading washing machines are heavily favored, thus I've used many over the years, and this is the best yet I've used. However, the reason I give it 4 and not 5 stars overall, is because after moving to the USA we had a top loader. I have to confess I preferred the top loader concept as it requires less maintenance and is more convenient. I wish I'd bought the LG top loader instead. But if you are short of space this would be a better choice as you can stack it or fit it under a worktop. It is supposed to be more efficient with water and energy to.
We have the matching dryer which is excellent, so if a matching set is what you are after, these would be the ones.

i all ways had a top loader until my mom and other family and friends say front loader saves more water and time and energy it's been a month they were right ! this washer great!! and sears is great too very helpful and the reveiws are very helpful in chosing this washer.i am 50years old i wish they had this one back then very pleased

It's so darn quiet !

This is my first front load washer. I am amazed at how quiet it is. I read quite a bit about the LG line of appliances and LG seems to rate high.
The cycles don't take near as long as I was expecting and the short/quick wash cycle completes in about 15 minutes.
It's easy to operate. I like it.

My husband is very hard on his work clothes, the dirt, grease, and grime are so worked in that it took two hot water cycles in our old machine to get them clean. Now with our new LG front loader his clothes get amazingly clean and bright using the Coldwash cycle. This is truly the best washing machine we have ever owned!
