A lot better than my last one

Just swapped out a GE Front Loading with this one and it's 10 times better that piece of junk. Quieter and faster and our clothes seem to be cleaner. I'll post again in a few months but so far so good.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings

We purchased this washer after reading many reviews of numerous brands, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! We are impressed with how quiet it is and how little water and detergent is used, while getting the clothes even cleaner than our old top-loader. This machine can wash everything from our queen-size blankets (never getting out of balance) to small loads of delicate fabrics. It is very easy to change the settings, of which there are many combinations, and we look forward to the little tune at the end of the cycle...a quality touch for a quality machine! Another reason we chose the LG is that you can drain and clean the filter at the bottom of the machine which is a feature not all front-loaders have, even some of the pricier ones. As another reviewer mentioned, we now look forward to laundry day!

This machine works as good as my old washer at twice the price. Ease of use is excellent and the way the door swings makes it easier to load and unload clothes.

I have been using this machine for a month now. I still have not explored all its features but am very happy with the way it works and how my clothes turn out. I am also very happy with the emails that give me advice and tips. And the music tone at the end of the wash makes me smile. Thank you so much for all your support!

A huge improvement

Our old machine was a top loader, and this new LG is better in every way. It's quieter, gets the clothes cleaner and uses less water. The set up is quite easy, and so are the controls. The only thing that seems strange is that the load sensor never gets to 3 out of 4 bars (or 4 out of 4). After a month I'm very happy with the results. It's incredible how dry the clothes come out after the spin cycle. In addition, as it's a bit older model the price is very attractive. Unless the sanitize cycle is important to you, I don't think you can go wrong with this machine.

Being a 73 year old lady I am definitely enjoying our LG front loading Washer. It is very easy to understand all of it's features using it's manual as a guide; very detailed!

It is a good washer

This washer is easy to use and does a good job of getting the clothes clean. I find it distressing, though, that we have made such progress with cleaning clothes and saving water only to loose it in convenience. It is a real pain to have to kneel before the machine every other week to drain and clean out the pump filter. What could they be thinking, that they imagine that people will do this? But as the alternative is a moldy and smelly washing machine I suppose I will have to. Similarly, a lot of water remains in the detergent/additive compartment and in the door seal, requiring that those areas be wiped at the end of washday as well.
