So far, this washer has been great. It takes a bit of getting used to the high efficiency aspects of the washer. It will handle heavily soiled loads, but you have to use the additional settings which add a longer wash time and some more water to get the job done.
The machine is much much quieter than our old washer and I also feel that it is more gentle on our clothes - it does not have an agitator so it doesn't wrench and spindle our clothing to pieces.
It does vibrate a bit (2nd story location), but it is not bad and only noticeable right outside our laundry room.
Pros: Performance, easy to use

When this machine goes into it's final spin cycle it bangs loudly and moves as much as a foot from its original position. The size of the load that it is washing does not matter. This machine is installed in a level position.
In addition, the water lines banged to the point that I had to install air hammers on the water lines.

This is my first HE product and I can't believe how little detergent it uses, the size of the drum holds so much more clothes, and how it extracts so much water in the spin cycle. It has significantly lowered my drying time with my old dryer. Can't wait to get the matching dryer one day when my old one dies. Totally blown away with the LG product.

Cleans wonderfully, and I love that I can wash so much laundry in one load. I can wash more than double what I did in my top load washer. Wash cylcles can be a bit long, but still saves me time in the long run. Less time in the dryer, too, because it spins really dry. Detergent compartment retains more water than I would like, so I remove it to drain it or just leave it open to dry when I'm finished for the day. Very happy with my purchase.

Awesome machine. This is our first front loader and we love it. It is quiet, smooth and efficient. It uses a lot less water and does a great job getting the laundry clean.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY NEW LG WASHER, AND ONLY SLIGHT COMPLAINT IS THAT I DO WISH IT HAD A SPIN ONLY CYCLE AS I WOULD USE THIS FEATURE. I DO OCCASIONALLY GET A RATTLE FROM THE WATER HOSES HITTING THE BACK OF THE WASHER. ON THE POSITIVE SIDE, I LOVE THE LOOKS, FUNCTION & ESPECIALLY THE WAY IT'S EASY TO OPERATE.
