Great Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second LG Front load washing machine for me. The first one lasted over 12 years.... I would have liked longer but I understand this is par for the course. I bought LG again because I enjoy the product and know its reliability. This model is even better than the first. The ease of the settings and the results can't be beat. I do wipe out the rubber seal after each use and avoid any foul odor from water sitting at the bottom of the seal. I also do this to clean out the hair that settles in the area. We have 2 dogs and a cat so there is more of this than an average household.
The machine does a nice job of getting the cloths clean and is gentle on the fabrics. I would recommend LG to my friends

Six years without a hitch

Good but not outstanding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit replaced a similar LG washer that was involved in the class action suit for mold issues. So far this unit is working well. It appears to take a bit longer to do the wash.
This one is far more stable, the previous washer would go out of balance and move around, this one does not move at all.
The wash setting is harder to read, and putting the gentle cycle next to heavy towels. To easy to get the wrong cycle.
I would have liked to have a high end model like this with LED lights in the washer making it easier to see what is inside the washer.
