The person I spoke to was so helpful, he helped me find the part and gave me the model number I needed. Then he transferred me to the parts center and I was able to order the part.

Washer and dryer 10 years strong!!!!

I have had my washer and dryer almost 10 years and my pump just went out. I just had a new pump put in I bet it will last me another 10 years!!!!!! I love LG and will most definitely buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Actually have had this unit for 7 or 8 years and never experienced an issue until recently. The problem turned out to be a sensor, which would naturally degrade over time. So instead of a large repair cost for a new motor, the cost was relatively minor to replace the sensor. The service tech told me that in 10 years he has never had to replace an LG motor. Glad we bought LG for long term reliability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a late review, as I purchased the WM2250CW model washer 12 years ago. While it works fine, I however don't like that this washer does not spray the water directly into the tub While filling. My first front loader I bought in 1999 filled by spraying the water directly into the tub, and would continue to do so, until it reached the desired water level. This washer instead fills by sending the water to the shell, them fills the drum using a rising effect, which takes much longer for the clothes to tumble through the water. The default water level is too low, that I had dry clothes throughout the cycle. I literally had to void my machine, by changing the setting on the water pressure switch, just so it would fill with more water. Looking at other brands of front loader washers, they either fill by spraying the water directly onto the clothes while filling, or use a recirculation pump to spray the water onto the clothes, until it reaches the desired water level, then shut off the pump. LG does have models with the Turbo Wash feature, but it's only on more expensive models, and I did not have the money to buy a more expensive model. It has served enough for me. Not sure if I'll buy another LG, as I did need to get a control board, and was forced to resort to buying a used one online, as a new one was no longer available. Plus, any future front loader, I want one that will easily fill with enough water, while at the same time, not need excessive features and cycles I won't use. The cheapest LG washers have more than enough cycles for what I need, but lack the ability to fill the tub to where it fills faster. If future models had Turbo Wash as a standard feature on all models, I might be inclined to buy another LG. I don't need steam, nor a sanitation cycle that can take over 2 hours to wash a load of clothes.
