I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I love everything about this product. I love that I can't do extra large loads in a short time and they are still clean. So many different settings for different load types and also it senses the load size so you only use the water that you need. And my kids love the fact that it plays a little song when the clothes are done rather than a loud buzzer.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, everything

Excellent machine

I had bought another brand washing machine not even two years ago. So called energy/water efficient. I had an off white, heavy (Not thick) bed spread that I loved. It barely fit in the other machine and always came out looking just as dirty as it had when I put it in. I had almost given it up to the rag pile. I decided to buy my LG after reading some ratings on consumer reports and my other machine was not getting any of my clothes very clean. After a few washes I decided to give my bed spread one last chance thinking it was hopelesly stained. When I pulled it out though I could not find any of the previous stains. It looked like new. After that I was hooked. What an amazing machine. Well worth the money

I like this machine's water and energy efficiency features. I wish I didn't have to leave the door open all the time to prevent it from mildewing/stinking. I also need to wipe down the gasket and remove any hairs or obstructions after every wash too. It's not only high efficiency, it's high maintenance. The clothes don't come out super clean either.

Even though it says this washer has an anti-vibration system, it does vibrate a lot, and continues to move forward on the floor during spin cycles. It's on a pedestal, so maybe it wouldn't be so bad if it were directly on the ground.
When the cycle starts, the water goes off and on for about a second. This happens multiple times and is very loud.
The care guidelines ask you to check the filters at the water inlets from the hoses from time to time. They are located in the back of the washer - an area I cannot reach.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had another brand of washing machine, which was only 4 years old, but was so unstable on the floor, wouldn't balance correctly, and just gave us fits.. My darling husband had researched different brands on the conputer, and speaking with friends, decided to get an LG....it is a the best choice we have ever made...we purchased the one with the shelf underneather, which holds so many products and gives me more room in the cupboards above the machine. The machine uses less detergent and my clothes come out looking like new....we are now going to get the matching dryer. Although the other one dries the clothes, but it just isn't the same as having two LG beautiful appliances next to each other.

This washer is attractive, easy to keep clean, easy to use, and has a few great features like tub clean, presoak, extra rinse, delayed wash. easy to use and easy measure dispensers and really cool end-of-cycle signal.

A Terrific Washer!

We purchased this washer about a month ago to replace a 12 year old front loader that finally died. This machine is terrific! Great features ... easy to use ... quiet and extremely efficient. We're very happy so far. The wash cycle is a little longer than expected but the results are great. My only complaint is the manual is incomplete in one respect. The WATER TEMP control has COLD and TAP COLD settings but the manual does not explain the difference between the two. It took a quick email to Customer Support to get the answer. I should point out that the email response came in about 15 minutes and explained the difference in detail.

I have never had a front loading washer and was not sure about getting one. I love this machine, it gets my clothes clean and is easy to use.
