Great washer...if it lasted.

I've owned this washer for a year and 2 months. Seems to get clothes clean and I had no complaints until the warranty ran out. Naturally withing a week of the warranty expiring, the load sensing feature doesn't seem to work anymore. It doesn't matter if I load 1 pieces of clothing or 100 pieces of clothing, load size is always 1 out of 4. I spoke with a tech and they said unplug the machine, hold the power button in for 25 seconds, plug the machine back in and start a load. When I do this, I'll always get a 2 out of 4 for load size. No 3, no 4. I'm not paying who knows how much to get this fixed, stupid load sensing. I wouldn't recommend a LG washer at this point. I've always had good luck with LG and now this has truly soured my like for LG products.
Pros: breaks down after warranty expires, short warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I needed a washer that saved water...this does the job.
Features are good...has many water temps, even heats
water so hot is really hot!. I like that I can choose a simple spin cycle by itself if needed. Also can add extra water in either wash cycle or rinse cycle. Love the drain hose feature so I can drain excess water that remains in tub to avoid smell.

Great machine!

I was hesitant at first to try a front loader. I had always used top loaders, but after a disastrous experience with my last machine I decided to give it a try. The clothes come out super clean and fresh. No more skunky smells left on clothes like my previous machine. I wash a lot of clothes and this washer can handle very large loads. So far machine stays clean, unlike my last machine which always seemed to mold around the seals. Love the steam and cold wash features. Hopefully this machine can stand the test of time and last for years to come.

this washer is fabulous--from the ease of operation to the adorable chimes at the end. it washes well, spins to perfection, is quiet, and is far superior to any other brand i have owned in the past (and i have owned many). some of the cycles are a bit long but i would suspect the reason is the optimum cleaning this machine does.

Love this Washer

My wife is ecstatic with her new washer. The multiple selection features fit all her wants. She has been hesitant to go from an agitator style washer to one that has no agitator. So she went all the way to a front loader. "In Heaven"

I have had this washer for two months and it is operating great. It is very simple to use and does a great job cleaning clothes. I have not noticed any smell coming from the machine (common with front loaders). I am looking forward to many years of use with this washer and would definately recommend this machine.

I purchased this washer and the companion dryer for my new home. I had never had a LG product or a front load washer & dryer, but I am so pleased with this purchase. The washer is so efficient! I really like the feature of measuring the load for the water consumption. And, it is so quite! The clothes are practically dry when the final spin cycle is complete, the dryer doesn't have much work to do! I have had no issues with any odor as I use the detergent pods & I frequently wipe out the detergent bin. The price was extremely affordable & I think I got more than my money's worth! I would definitely recommend this and the dryer to others.
