Product washes and cleans all the clothes that I put in it. the ease of controls and selections are easy to use. Tub clean is a great feature to keep tub smelling fresh.

A nice washer

Wanted to own a front loader for many years. I like all the water selection level features and expecially the delay start button. It's great because my laundry is in the basement. If I know I don't want to go downstairs again for the night I can delay the washer to start until morning.
Pros: Features/Settings

I have had it for a year now and it has performed great. It is quiet and clothes come out very clean every time.

Incredibly noisy

Unfortunately due to space in my home, I had to stack my LG washer/dryer pair. From day one, any time the washer is spinning (even slightly), it sounds like the house is falling apart! The machines were professionally installed with the correct stacking kit. When the washer is running, it is impossible to talk on the phone, watch tv, or even talk to other people in the house. The washer seems to wash clothes well. I just don't recommend stacking.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fantastic Washer!

Love this washer. It's good looking, quiet and gets the job done. Handles cleaning bedding products and towels really well. Love the quick wash feature. My favorite part is that you can call in and put your smart phone up to the machine and LG can run a diagnostics. Hope I don't ever have to that feature! ;) highly recommend.

Short life cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product was purchased on 10/30/2013. It stopped working on 04/15/2016. Faulty main control panel was determined to be the problem. Cost to replace is more than half the cost of a new washer and/or the part is not available for 15 days. Either is a reason to not get it fixed. Only 2 years 6 months old!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Dependable Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this unit for about 12yrs. It has been very dependable for our normal household use of 1-4 adults(has varied over the years, kids left, etc). No major complaints or repairs. I did replace a pump once and you do have to leave the door open when not in use or it will get a 'smell' and you must keep the rubber door gasket clean. I am noticing some wear at the back of the stainless drum but that seems normal...not sure what repairing that would involve and at this point it does not affect operation. LG provided me with repair manuals when I asked, good deal, they were very nice :). Nice washer, we hope it keeps serving us well for many more years!
