Very good monitor. I feel they make the best electronics.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: controls are not easily accessable being in the ba, back. have tom turn monitor, around to see

For the most part this is a good monitor. I need to buy two monitors but I have some reservations. The picture seems just to be a touch out of focus. It's not as sharp as my previous monitor. I can live that. My major concern is with the power button and the power LED. You never know when you turn off the monitor. First off, it's located on the back, lower right corner, I can get use to that. In order to turn off the monitor you have to press the menu button in the very center. IF the menu comes up(which it doesn't most of the time), you have to press the down button to select to power off, then press the menu button again to select. If you miss it then you get to repeatedly push the menu button again. With the computer is off, there is no signal to the monitor. Pressing the menu button causes the blue LED to illuminate but the menu may not appear on the screen. You push the button again and the LED goes out, blank screen. Occasionally after repeated pressing the button, you MIGHT get a menu, but then again you might get a blank screen... A royal pain. I'm wasting electricity and money because I never know if there is power to the monitor or not. I got to the point that I don't fight with trying to turn off the monitor. That whole setup need to be redesigned. If Samsung would fix the menu/switch function and the focus issue then this would be a decent monitor.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: menu/power switch operation., focus slightly off.

I love the size, it fits into the space on my desk without sticking out too far and the picture is very crisp. The older models had a lot of extra plastic edges that really added to the space it took up but this model is very streamlined and makes my inner OCD very happy with the way it lines up in the space available. The only thing it doesn't have is an audio output jack so as long as your speakers have a long enough cord to reach your tower it's not even really a problem.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: no audio output jack on the back

Excellent Monitor

I am very happy with the build quality and the minimal desktop footprint. The image quality is very good and there are plenty of options and adjustments you can make to change the image quality. I spent some time calibrating the monitor using a few websites but the default values were almost exactly calibrated. I did purchase a refurbished unit so I didn't pay the full price but I would absolutely be willing to after using this monitor.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color

Great monitor for great price

Purchased on sale, great value. Screen is matte no gloss, picture quality is great. No DVI so HDMI should be the way to go. No built in speakers but you should normally avoid using poor quality built-in monitor speakers.
Pros: good value, mountable, sleek design

This product has features that are confusing

While I like the monitor the instructions leave a lot to be desired. I've had other monitors and figuring out how to change the various displays and turning it on and off where somewhat confusing. Other then that I like it.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: confusion with disiplays and turning on and off

Got a Samsung 22" SE310 monitor right after Christmas. I like the way it was easy to set up and use. It has great color and is large enough that I can open several files at a time to view. I mainly use it for gaming and it gives really good textures. The color palette is great. I am really happy with tis purchase.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display
Cons: it leans forward and can not be tilted back
