Great value

This washer exceeded my expectations on most counts. It is super quiet and has excellent features in terms of so many control options.
I did not select the higher model as further additional features would have been an overkill. For normal use, I think the features offered by this washer are more than adequate.
There was one point where I was not totally satisfied. When I bought this from Lowes, the salesgirl told me that the door can be reversed. But when the washer arrived, I found out that this is not possible. It only swings to the left. The installer told me that there is no option on this washer to change the direction of the door. The factory does it to ensure the water seal since this is a front load. It is possible on a dryer, but not on the washer.
I think Samsung should gave the option at the time of purchase to select models which will have doors opening in either direction.
My issue is that the wall is on the right and it is a bit inconvenient for the door opening to the left.
Other than this, I am very satisfied with the product.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, quiet
Cons: door swings open only to the left

This is the best washer I have ever owned! Our clothes have never felt so clean and fresh. This product goes above and beyond the expectations of a normal washer!! I love how user friendly the settings are, quick and easy!!

Great energy efficient washer

We bought this washer along with the matching gas dryer. The dryer works great and I like the multiple options it has for drying times and methods. While the washer is a great energy efficient washer, I have noticed that it shakes a lot during the spin cycle. I don't know if it's because we had it put on a pedestal and the spinning motion is higher off the ground causing it to shake more, or if it's designed to be that way. This is the first front load washer I have ever owned. I also noticed that you can not put in a heavy load or it will have a difficult time completing the spin cycle. I had washed some bath rugs and although they weren't large, when wet they were quite heavy and I ended up having to take a rug out so the weight would be lighter. Thinking it could have just been the rugs, I tried to wash 8 regular bath towels along with 2 beach towels and had the same issue. Aside from that, when doing clothing, the washer works great. I do know that the washer and pedestal are level with the floor so that's not what is causing the excessive shaking during the spin cycle.

A lot to get used to but good product so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have raised 3 kids and always had heavy duty top loader washers with agitators. I have downsized, the kids are grown, so I wanted to give a front loader a try.
There are pros and cons to this machine.
Cons - you can't soak a load of whites/filthy sports uniforms/etc. because there's not enough water in the machine to soak them in.

Can't do a huge load - could be issue with some families who do a lot of laundry as I did.
It takes some getting used to to keep the door open all/most of the time to avoid mold and smells. Depending on your laundry set up, the open washer door can be an obstruction. I don't know if this is a requirement per the operating manual or if people have advised me to keep the door open, but I do and there have been no smells.
Detergent dispenser retains water in the reservoir after a load - my advice is to use the pods instead of liquid detergent (the pods I use work great and smell great too!) That way you don't use the detergent dispenser.
Pros - appears to use less water to wash a load
SUPER QUIET. I MEAN SUPER compared to my other washers.

Cons: can't soak in the machine, keeping the door open (mold smell)

Excellent purchase to replace my old LG front load washer. I like the diamond patterned interior and the easy to use buttons. The sound takes some getting used to, but overall an excellent purchase.
