Terrible- Do not buy

after about 6 months of use the washer is not working and produces an error in display that doesn't align with any of the published error codes. i've called samsung for support and because the product is not under warranty even though it has only been used for 6 months total (i got brand new with my house i purchased and because the sellar purchased this 2 years ago- its no longer covered under samsung warranty). the cost for the registered samsung technician to come and diagnosis the issue and repair it will cost more than it is for me to buy a new unit. absolutely ridiculous. i would not recommend any samsung appliances to anyone!

Leaking in year 4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] frustratingly, we're having water drain onto the floor with every load now. looks like a seal is worn off and now we're concerned about damage as the water isn't getting to our drain.
of course, the warranty ran out a year ago for things like this. is there anything that can be done?

Fail from the start

on our first washing attempt after setup, the machine violently shook itself across the floor ripping out the drain and powecord. upon making sure that it was level and adding gripping pads to the feet the second run did much the same as the detergent tray and main door flung open.

our experience with samsung as a company is less than reliable. from cell phones to now appliances, we were entirely a samsung fan. the drain pump has failed 15 months into service and we're being told we're on our own. we understand the concept of warranties but we bought a top tier product expecting it to operate longer than 15 months. now samsung is telling us it's our problem. ok, we'll be buying more reliable products (from reliable companies) from now on.

Junk, don't waste your money

the seal holds moisture which makes the drum smell no matter how many times you clean it. it also puts grease marks on your clothes. the extra warranty they sell you does not cover smell and damage to your clothes. i learned my lesson. never again samsung. really junk!!

i logged on to the review page and the 1st review is exactly the same issue as mine. a review titled "longevity". well mine lasted 2.5 years before the drum bearing went out. i feel bad for the writer of that review, fortunately we have a home warranty that is paying for the expensive repair. i was so hoping they would just replace it, but i guess i will start saving for a new one in another 2.5 years

Very quiet

does rugs very well. what i have a problem with is trying to connect my iphone to it. it is such a pain and i am unable to connect even with youtube guidance. too bad i can't just scan a code and connect like other products do. it's too hard for us normal non tech people to cope with.
