So glad I over-ruled my decorator and bought LG!

This LG french door refrigerator has every feature we needed: ice maker/water dispenser; large interior space that keeps both fresh and frozen foods longer and better than any other refrigerator I've had over the past 30 years. Temperature control in refrigerator and freezer section seems perfect.The LED lights are amazing. For the first time I can easily see into every corner of the refrigerator and freezer just by opening the doors, which results in much less food waste - All my visitors are in awe of the excellent lighting. Everything inside and out is well designed.
I use the crushed or cubed ice maker every day to make smoothies. It's always perfect. Thrilled with LG ; glad I didn't buy the super expensive Sub-Zero without ice maker or water dispenser that my decorator recommended. Now she's trying to convince other clients that LG is the best way to go!

Great refrigerator

We were limited in getting a refrigerator that would fit into the space we had. Our existing refrigerator was not large enough but only 8 years old when it decided to quite working. This LG refrigerator allowed us to get a larger size that would still fit in the slot. It has lots of additional features. Great lighting and storage. It's a dream to own.

Nice refrigerator so far although I think it could be improved by having more area on the doors to put condiments . Since everything in life is a trade off ,where I miss out there, I gain visibility and an easy reach for anything everywhere else.
Pros: easy to use

Compressor out in 15 months

Very disappointed in the product.
Have been without a fridge for 1 week because the compressor went out. Poor workmanship in my opinion.

My old refrigerator broke down and was in a bind to replace it quickly. We need a counter depth fridge and I am always disappointed that my options are so limited and I pay way more for a smaller fridge. So with my limited choices I am satisfied with this fridge. I really like the freezer layout. I was worried that I would be digging the drawers and having the bottom freezer, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the layout. A drawer and some good dividers have made this my favorite part of this unit. I also really like the ice maker. It makes smaller ice cubes and is hidden nicely on my door. I don't like that the water dispenser stupid when the opposite door is opened. The racks on the doors are very narrow and difficult to fill. The produce drawers are very small. Wish there were two big drawers instead of the three smaller drawers.

Had problems after only 3 weeks. refrigerator went into deep defrost cycle, completely defrosted everything in the freezer. Don't know if it will happen again.
Pros: Performance

I've only had this a month but I really like the usable layout and large interior. A little pricey, and the water filters and air filters are really pricey. But it keeps the food fresh better than my previous refrigerator and with the movable shelves, LED lighting, and huge doors, it's the nicest room in my house. Don't slam the doors though, close them gently.

I love the look and quietness of this refrigerator. The french door design and the lighting are the two features I like the most. The one negative is the ice maker capacity. If you are having friends over you will run out of ice. I've only had the refrigerator for 4 weeks, and so far I have not had any problems with any quality issues.
