have had this refrigerator 7 months and it needed major service work. Tech came out the next day but stated he needed to come back to replace parts. Both the frig and freezer temps were very high. Frozen food was ruined. This happened right before July 4th so we have to wait for days. Luckily we have a refrig downstairs. 16 years old and working well
LG should give us a brand new unit.
We love the features of this unit and both it because of its high reviews.
I hope LG makes things right. Time will tell

Designed Perfectly for growing family

We redesigned our kitchen and the new layout required a purchase of counter-depth refrigerator. At first we were worried that counter-depth refrigerator would not fit our cooling storage needs for a growing family. So, we researched and physically checked out many models and brands and decided on LG French Door 25cu feet. Needless to say, we could not be happier with our decision. LG's engineering makes it feel like you do not even have a counter-depth refrigerator at times. The ice-maker is built tightly into the door, which does not take up space. The dispenser is perfect for large cups or even filling waterbottles. They designed it so freezer air does not circulate into the refrigerator (and vice versa), keeping food fresh for longer periods of time. On top of it all, the styling is right. Wife was not happy with me spending that amount of money, but she now she even believes.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, space, large counter-depth

We needed to get a counter depth refridgerator and found the selections rather scarce, in general. This LG was at the higher end that we considered. We purchased it and are pleased so far. The icemaker beng built into the door was the feature that tipped the scales toward this purchase as it adds storage space overall while still having shelves on the door. This was the largest capacity unit that physically fit our location. It seems to be built well and we hope that it will last a while. Also the LED lighting in the interior was nicer than most other units we compared.

I love the style and design and we were able to fit a large capacity refrigerator into a smaller space. The three middle drawers are a little bit smaller than I had thought when originally looking at it. We have had to have a part replaced on the ice maker and it is acting up again, so that's disappointing. However, I love the freezer being on the bottom.

I have been looking for a refrigerator that makes little ice cubes for a long time and this one is perfect! Little cubes or crushed! The refrigerator seems well made and has many nice features. I'm so glad we went with the counter-depth model. It looks so nice in my new kitchen!

This refrigerator is the best one I have ever had. It is so large that I have no problem with room anymore. The only thing wrong with it are the shelves on the door are a difficult size to use. A gallon of milk is not easy to get on the door but it can be done. Just takes a little effort. The shelves on the side with the ice are not a very useful size either. No big deal it all works out in the end because of the room in the actual refrigerator. Love it would buy it again.

My new Bottomless Pit

This refigerator is the best! We keep shopping and filling it with food but the space never fills up! The ice maker is more than adequate for my family. The food stays fresh and crispy and the temperature of the liquid drinks-especially milk-are cold and refreshing.
This is our first French Door/bottom freezer refrigerator. All I can say is W O W!

This fridge has great organization and superior space utilization. Everything is visible, there's a spot for just about everything.
The only thing that requires planning is designated areas for taller items such as OJ, milk, pitchers, etc. The right hand door and top left shelf are the only spots for this, so a family with a lot of tall beverages may need to plan accordingly
