After only 16 months my dryer is not working with no heating

There is no heating inside the dryer after only 16 months of purchase. It doesn't matter whether in sensor mode or manual mode, it's like air fluff. Very disappointed that Samsung's poor quality control and short warranty.

you can see all the reviews, I am sharing my experience (another datapoint): it started squealing and stopped working completely. I assume the belt/pulley broke. I had this dryer for 1.5 year.
worst quality for the price, especially the price of repairs

UPSET!! Had it only 2 years, already its BROKEN!

Horrible quality. We had an older dryer that was nearly 20 years old (from previous owners) and still functioned great, we only replaced it with this Samsung dryer to update the look when we remodeled the laundry room. We loved it at first, and have used it maybe once every 7 to 10 days.... we travel a lot too, so at times may go 3 weeks without using it. In barely 2 years its already broken!! Four months ago it started making terrible screeching sounds, like metal grinding, then banging and whizzing noises. Its so bad we can't run it when we're in the house, now we're afraid it may catch on fire (whatever metal is grinding). We now have the pay $100 + parts & labor for someone to come fix it. If it was 5 or 8 years old sure, but less then 2 years and not often used? I'm also an interior designer and have purchased many appliances for clients and they have all lasted far longer. I will likely not buy Samsung again given how quickly this broke down. Its very disappointing.

This dryer is defective: 18 months after purchase the dryer stopped spinning. Had to replace the belt and idler pulley. Another 18 months later same thing happened. Avoid this product.

I am pleased with this dryer. Large enough for my comforters and I can do a quick drying to get the wrinkles out no iron!

I purchase the Samsung Model # DV45K7600GW/A3 on August 6 2016 on December 21 2016 the motor had to be replaced 3 week later the timer went out I have to run each load 2 or 3 times be fore they are dry no matter how big or small the load.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Thank you for contacting us. Our sincere apologies that you had to deal with this issue, as your Electric Dryer doesn't dry your clothes properly. I understand how inconvenient it can be when you cannot get the appropriate drying result. This is not the experience we want you to have. Please know that we appreciate all feedback that helps us understand how to improve our products.


Please ensure the Dryer is not in ECO DRY mode, as this setting will reduce the power consumption of certain other cycles but will extend the length of the cycle, potentially up to 3 times as long. Depending on the load size and temperature setting. One of the ways it does this is by beginning the cycle without using heat. Eco Dry is on by default on Normal and Time Dry cycles for models with the feature.
