i purchased the matching washer / dryer set 3 years ago. i just ordered the 2nd heating element in 6 months. samsung should only make phones!!! i will never purchase a samsung appliance again.

only 3 years, 1 year we had to replace the pully/belt. 2nd year dryer timer stopped working. 3rd year banging noise and the dryer drum is cracking with sharp points

has been less than 2 years since purchasing it and it's on its 3rd costly repair. the heating element has been repaired twice now along with other issues. avoid purchasing this brand.

Not worth the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] year 2 belt breaks, year 3 heating element breaks. last i checked a dryer should last more than a year without needing repairs. disgusted!!!

Completely Unreliable - Broke 8 times in 5 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] when this dryer works it does a good job. it drys fast, has a lot of options and features. my feeling is the gas model/version may be better but the electric one i had was hopeless.
it broke so many times that i literally wound up an expert in how to disassemble and repair it myself and if you laid out the parts in front of me i could assemble the dryer simply from memory.
it got to the point where i kept a supply of spare parts on hand. i finally gave up this last time as i couldn't be repairing the thing every 2-3 weeks during the pandemic.
total garbage, i wanted to go office space on it at the end. not sure what will happen to the samsung washer we bought to go with it, holding my breath... but we replaced this dryer with a different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Spent over $400 in repairs over 4 years

i purchased the dryer because i thought it was top-of-the-line based on consumer reports. however it has broken down once a year for the last four years. i’ve spent over $400 on repairs and it just broke down again. i will never buy another samsung appliance so long as i live

Failed after 3 1/2 years

after 3 1/2 years the drum stopped turning. the technician found out that the motor shaft rubs against it's bearing causing a resistance which the motor cannot overcome. obviously wrong choice of material. costs of the motor replacement amounts to half of the cost of a new dryer. fortunately, we have an extended warranty.
