Needed repair in less than 3 months after purchasing

My wife and I had a our dryer for approximately 8 years without any issue and we decided it was time to start searching for a new model. We shopped around and researched based on customer reviews. We also asked some of our friends their opinion. The final decision was SAMSUNG. The dryer had all the bells and whistles and it seemed to work great...at first. In less than 3 months the tumbler had stopped working.
I am aware some items may have a faulty component...no sweat! We called customer support to have a tech come out. The tech was at our facility within 72hrs. He came and fixed the tumbler within an hour or so. Sounds like a happy ending, right? Unfortunately, 24hrs later the dryer stopped heating up and now we are back to square one.
I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the product. I own several Samsung items and the quality has never been an issue. This will be the last time I purchase a Samsung appliance.

Love it. Dries very fast. The only drawback is the lint trap is hard to open. Lots of cycles and steam and NSF sanitizer features. Nice dryer.

I just got this dryer yesterday, and already love it. The dryer has lots of settings which makes it a breeze to use. I actually enjoy doing laundry now.

More features than I ever used

My wife and I have only used this machine for two months, and used many of the features for different clothes and material that I've never used before. The results were better feeling bed sheets, shirts, blankets, towels, etc. I didn't think settings would matter as long as the dryer is set to hot. The drying efficiency is also great in comparison to how long it takes. a normal dry time for my usual casual clothes takes 35 minutes, for 5 days worth of different outfits or a light-medium load. Also the steam feature something everyone probably wants to have but doesn't need, and i feel like it should be a standard. Also it didn't increase my electric bill much after using it 5-6 times a month. Also an added bonus is the cool LED light inside the drum.
The only thing I can think of that it can improve on is the touch buttons have a slight delay.
Pros: features, efficient, attractivee, affordable

Great dryer with one minor problem

We like everything about our Samsung dryer, but it did have one minor manufacturing fault. The latch mechanism was pulling out of the cabinet each time we opened the dryer door. (see photo) I noticed that the latest Samsung dryer models have redesigned this mechanism so that it is now held securely into the cabinet with screws, whereas the one on our dryer is a press-fit type with no additional fasteners.
Pros: seems built to last

Best in price, features and size. Only issue i had is to find user video manual for settings.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight
