I love the height of the dryer as I have had a neck fusion and do not have to lean over and further stress my neck by having to lean over constantly on other appliances.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, i have other samsung productsvery reliable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great looking and does a good job of drying various loads and fabrics types.
I dried 2 down pillows that I washed with good results (be sure to sew up any openings in the pillow cover or you'll wind up with a bunch of feathers in the lint trap). Use the lowest heat setting for best results.

The machine has a mind of its own. Regardless of the setting I put it on it (even time drying) it will continue to dry until it determines that my clothes are dry. It has taken me a while to get use to this but it is an excellent feature. Also, the permanent press feature is great- clothes come out without wrinkles. Also, when clothes are done- they don't feel burning hot as compared to my old dryer. Therefore, it must be more energy efficient as it must be using less electrical power.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display

Dryer Noise

We decided to go with Samsung due to our impression of the good things we believed they had. We wanted the Steam option which this model had and seems to work as expected. It dries good although on a couple occasions had indicated it completed the cycle but the load was still damp. Most of our disappointment is in the rumble the dryer makes with running. From what I can see, it seems like the design of the location where the rollers ride. It's not smooth by any means and has ripples in the groove. Other dryers that have a smooth riding surface make much less noise. We had a service man look at the dryer and he said it was normal. In my opinion, any noise/vibration can only lead to failure of parts down the road. Another disappointment is in the chrome ring on/around the door. It does not have a good smooth even chrome finish like other chrome parts, you can see finger prints in the chrome that can not be removed.
We would not recommend this dryer to others unless you don't care about the items we mentioned.

We purchased two (2) of these and they are quiet, easy to use, full of features and faster than any dryer we've ever owned! We would recommend these to everyone; in fact, we bought two!
