1.5 years and the drum bearing fails?

After 1.5yrs, I had a Samsung tech tell me that the motor is fine, but the drum bearings have failed. Yes, we have it leveled. Yes, we calibrated the weight. No, we didn't overload the washer.
The tech hand-turned the drum and you can hear the bearings rolling loose in the housing. The washer makes a roaring sound in the spin cycle. (add to this the darned detergent drawer is always *full* of water - not a little bit, but FULL).
So now the dilemma: do I pay to have it repaired or replace it after 19 months? We have the MATCHING dryer, so now what?
We have Samsung phones (I have 2 personally), Samsung TVs, Samsung tablets, Samsung DVD/Blu-Ray Players and we like them, so we extended our trust to the appliances... Not sure what to do now..
Pros: Bright display, huge capacity
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, short lifespan
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doing laundry no longer a boring task!

I am so happy with this washer, I love all the different selections it has for my family laundry needs. I truly appreciate the large capacity of this appliance, it meets our family needs for sure. I truly also appreciate that I can wash our comforters in it! It is literally a "silent" machine, makes no crazy noises or doesn't tumble everywhere {like our last washer did}. I like the design of this appliance, it is modern and looks very nicely in our laundry room.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color
Cons: not being able to operate from smartphone, price

Large capacity

I purchased this washer because we regularly wash our queen size blankets. We can fit 2 at a time which is not bad. This bad boy is really heavy and when it starts the spin cycle, it wobbles back and forth until it can balance the load. Once balance, it hums when in the spin cycle.
The first thing I notice is that it hardly even uses water and in the quick wash cycle, it came up with a 4E error. I was kind of surprise because it’s only been 2 months. I powered down and restarted the wash and it seems to be fine now. Let’s hope it stays that way.

No good washer

We just had our washer for few months and now is not functioning right! It's a Samsung front loader WF 9100, is giving us a 5E error stating is not draining properly, we've checked the filter, nothin, we checked the hose, cleared, we can't figure out what's the problem at all.
Very expensive washer!!

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with your new Washer, Luvcakes. If you haven't done so already, please try the following as recommended in the User Manual:
1. Turn off the unit for 10 seconds and then turn it on again.
2. Select the Spin Only cycle.
3. Press the Start/Pause to drain the water.
If the problem persists, please submit an online service request (http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/request) or call 800-SAMSUNG to speak with an agent who will be happy to assist you.

love it, but why not WIFI

I love all aspects of this huge pair. Everything is as I expected. I have a big family and needed this large capacity and associated performance and efficiency.
My biggest disappointment is the lack of Wi-Fi based smart control feature which enables you to control the unit through your phone. It is on one of the earlier and smaller model.
Pros: large and capable
Cons: no wifi smart control through phone app support

We have to do fewer loads a week. The cloths come out very clean. With the number of settings you can wash anything. Pillows and blankets come out hreat.

Lasted just 13 months!

Normally, I purchase large items with my American Express Card. Since I purchased this washer through the Builder Sales of Pacific Sales, I used a check. At the 13 month mark, the door would not lock. There is no error code to advise us of the problem. We called A local appliance repair, and they tried a new door lock. Didn't work, and they didn't charge us. Said it will be a very expensive board. He was great! Machine sucks!!!
