Great value.

I got it for $98. It makes excellent stills and videos for a "pocket" camera, and has some good features, like panoramic, "easy," etc. The only feature I miss is the ability to shoot in monochrome.

Need a new focus

I have difficulty getting a photo that is focused. The snap shot has a delay causing the moment to be lost. I believe there are better choices. I can't find Sony on my hard drive to load the photo. I have to use my past Canon camera to upload.

This is the second Sony camera I have owned. Both excel in taking good low light pictures. The W830 has the added advantage of being compatible to non-sony accessories and a more convenient set-up choices for settings.

I usually don't get great pics, as I don't hold the camera too steading when I've been drinking (at a family wedding).
I will still able to get great pics, even after having a couple drinks in me, thanks to this camera's steady hand technology.
So stop worrying and buy this camera NOW!

Quality Pictures at a Low Price

Especially good for low light pictures inside and outside. Easy zooming or wider angle lever. Very light weight with a wrist strap to prevent dropping. Great for shots of people, places, and things.

Camera is very good during day time. when night falls, lots of dots appear in the pictures. after zoom when i try to click a pic, pic becomes blur.

As I rec'd the unit after hunting season ended; I have not had a chance to try it under the conditions I bought it for. However the compact size and the large screen have proved to be easy for me to use (even without glasses). It will be a great addition to my daily hunting pack and will allow for quick use when things that other people never have a chance to see present themselves.
